I am a magid, an oral storyteller of Jewish folklore for all ages. I have told stories at Jewish Being School, at Klezcummington, at the community Hannukah party, and other events. I also consider the story-creating work I do for the puppet parades to be magidah. I have studied magidah with Lynn Gottlieb, and less formally with many storytelling teachers in my life.

I am in a multidisciplinary collaboration called Magid Ensemble with artist Kiah Raymond and musicians Raffi Boden, Mattias Kaufmann and Rachel Leader. We are currently touring our debut show: "Shterna and The Lost Voice," with storytelling, a feature-length crankie and live klezmer score.
